How it works

Put a thought into the world without publishing it.

Overlap is not a feed, a marketplace or a directory. It's a quiet system that listens, and occasionally comes back to say: you should meet someone.

01

Drop it

Share an idea or a problem in your own words. It doesn't need to be polished, structured or finished. Your Drop stays private from the moment you write it.

02

Forget about it

There is no feed to scroll and nobody can browse your ideas. Overlap quietly looks for meaningful intersections in the background. Most days, nothing happens — that's intentional.

03

An Overlap appears

When we find something worth exploring, we let both sides know — without naming anyone. You see the broad areas of overlap and why we think it could be worth a conversation.

04

You both decide

If you're curious and so are they, the connection opens. If either side passes, identities and Drop contents stay closed, and the candidate match ends quietly.

05

A Match Room opens

A private space around one connection: both Drops revealed, why you matched, a private chat, conversation starters and a way to propose a meeting.

What Overlap never does

  • No public feed of ideas or problems.
  • No browsing people, no directory, no followers.
  • No likes, views, rankings or popularity metrics.
  • No company searching through private ideas.
